Main Focus: Gathering, Guides, PvE
Most guides show you the destination. izValen is just as interested in the road there. His content follows the process of learning Albion in real time: trying something new, getting it wrong, understanding why, and trying again. He teaches what he knows, but never pretends there isn’t plenty left for him to learn too.
For a long time, his comfort zone was gathering and PvE. Farming, crafting, economy, and the Mists gave him plenty to explore and eventually teach through his guides. PvP was different, and seeing a red name usually meant looking for the nearest escape route. Recently, though, he’s been pushing himself to fight back. He still loses plenty, and he’s still nervous about it, but that’s precisely what makes his content great, since viewers get to watch the confidence develop alongside the skill.
And when those lessons go particularly badly, his community has the perfect way to describe him: “pochito.” That’s Valen when he makes a questionable decision, misunderstands a mechanic, or dies in a way that leaves chat asking, “Valen… why?” He doesn’t hide those moments. His now-infamous reaction to losing his first Awakened Prism even went viral, turning one painful lesson in full-loot PvP into part of his identity as a creator.
That same philosophy once became an actual guild: La Escuelita de Albion, where new players learned together in modest Tier 6 sets, eventually placing their own Hideout in the Roads of Avalon. Students from that elementary school eventually graduated, and today, many of them tackle World Bosses together, while Valen has his sights set on his college graduation: Azaryon. As a Dragonfire Ambassador, he wants to keep studying every new challenge alongside his community and share what they learn along the way.
If you’re still finding your own way through Albion, Valen offers something reassuring: you don’t need to have everything figured out to keep moving forward. Follow his journey, and join his live interview on AlbionTV this Friday for a chance to witness a pochito moment and win the Priest vanity bundle!
