01What we collect
An account is a Discord account: when you sign in we receive your Discord ID, username, avatar and, if your Discord privacy settings allow it, your email. Each game keeps what it needs about that account (your saved builds, checklists or preferences). We also store the data the games publish about players — kills, battles, guilds, items — which is public in the official APIs and is not private information. The site keeps technical logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and to keep the service running.
02Why we use it
To sign you in and keep your session; to save what you create in each game and show it back to you; to answer with the data of the games; to measure how the site is used so we can fix what is slow or broken; to show advertising that pays for the servers; and to answer you when you write to us.
03Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies for the session and for your preferences, and — only if you allow it in the cookie banner — analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense). Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookies” link in the footer.
04Advertising
The site is funded with Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. We do not control the content of those ads and are not responsible for the practices of the advertisers.
05Third parties
Discord (sign-in with OAuth), Sandbox Interactive's Albion Online API and the official game data of Aion 2 (the game data the site shows), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (traffic measurement), Google AdSense (advertising), Twitch (live streams in the games' panels), Cloudflare (network and traffic protection) and our database provider, which stores the account and the content you create. Each of them has its own privacy policy.
06How long we keep it
Account data stays while the account exists. The content you create stays until you delete it or ask us to. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. Analytics data is kept in aggregate; it is not used to identify you.
07Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the limitation of its use, its portability, and you can object to a processing you do not want. Deleting your account removes what belongs to you in both games. To exercise any of these rights, write to us on Discord and we will answer within 48 hours.
08Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information: encrypted connections, sessions that expire, restricted access to the servers and to the database, and no storage of passwords —there are none, you sign in with Discord.
09Minors
The site is not aimed at children. If you are under 16 you should not create an account or use the parts of the site that need one.
10Changes
This policy can change when the site changes. The date at the top is the date of the last revision; if a change affects what we do with your data, we will say so on the site.
11Contact
Questions about this policy: our Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/FvQDAJJMgh). We answer within 48 hours.
